Criminal Mischief – Occurred at 109 3rd Street NW, a glass window pane was broken, valued at $200.00

Christopher Garrison Hunter, age 26 of Fort Payne, was arrested for Theft of Property at 10:12 am.
William Shawn Vernon, age 32 of Fort Payne, was arrested on Four Warrants for Resisting Arrest, Disorderly Conduct, Public Intoxication and Possession of Marijuana at 3:14 pm.
A 15 year old female juvenile from Dutton was arrested on a Juvenile Pickup Order at 4:33 pm.
3 Accidents with 1 Fatality
An accident with a fatality occurred at Chisenhall Road and Houston Loop Road SW, James Marion Morgan Jr., age 61 of Fort Payne, driving a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado left the roadway and overturned. Mr. Morgan was pronounced dead at the scene.

Theft of Property – Occurred at Wal-Mart, a Samsung DVD blue ray player was taken, valued at $130.00

Theft of Property and Criminal Mischief – Occurred at 937 Gault Ave N, $100.00 in US currency was taken and damage was done to a drink machine and lock, valued at $250.00
Theft of Property – Occurred at 2914 Whippoorwill Road NW, prescription medication was taken, valued at $4.00
Theft of Property – Occurred at 215 Gault Ave S, taken was a 1973 Chevrolet ton truck, valued at $1500.00

An accident occurred at Gault Ave S and 21st Street SE, a 17 year old female juvenile of Fort Payne, driving a 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt struck Daniel Scott Campbell, age 44 of Fort Payne, driving a 1997 Land Rover who in turn struck Sidney Leon Dooley, age 69 of Fort Payne, driving a 2001 Ford F150. The juvenile driver of the Cobalt was taken to Dekalb Regional by private vehicle. Daniel Scott Campbell was taken to Dekalb Regional by Dekalb Ambulance Service.
An accident with injuries occurred at Grand Ave N and 12th Street NW, Laura Ann Abbott, age 33 of Pisgah, driving a 1997 Nissan Altima struck Brenda Gaye Umphrey, age 57 of Fort Payne, driving a 2011 Toyota Scion. Passenger in the Altima Krystal Domen was taken to Dekalb Regional by Dekalb Ambulance Service. Brenda Umphrey and passenger Alice Morgan Haynes, was taken to Dekalb Regional by private vehicle.

Unlawful Breaking and Entering a Vehicle – Occurred at 1103 Grand Ave NW, a diamond plate tool box was taken, valued at $300.00

Tommy Dustin Burt, age 25 of Fort Payne, was arrested for Driving under the Influence of Combined Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia at 3:11 pm.
Jaime Killian Stone, age 35 of Fort Payne, was arrested for Public Intoxication at 3:34 pm.
