An accident occurred at Smith Gap Road NW and Greenhill Blvd NW, Carlos Jesus Francisco, age 19 of Henagar, driving a 1992 Toyota Corolla struck Kellie Jean Cooley, age 42 of Pisgah, driving a 1998 Chevrolet C15. Cooley was taken to Dekalb Regional by Dekalb Ambulance Service.
An accident occurred at Desoto Parkway and Womack Drive NE, Alexis Ellen Bishop, age 18 of Section driving a 2005 Nissan Altima left the roadway striking a sign and tree. Bishop was taken to Dekalb Regional by private vehicle.
