Detective Sgt Curtis Massey states:
 
On Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at 6:41 am Richard Dale Aaron, age 55 of Fort Payne was struck by a hit and run car at 800 Wallace Ave NE.   Found at the scene was a right passenger side mirror from a 1994 to 2001 Ford Mustang. Mr. Aaron sustained injuries and was taken to Dekalb Regional by Dekalb Ambulance Services. The Fort Payne Police Department ask that if you have any information please call them at 256-845-1414.
